Anna
4x4 dodge coal grey truck pulled into the parking lot.Two bales of straw sat in the back of the truck. Though a small two horse trailer was hitched to the back with an equine waiting inside.Ebony locks pulled up into a messy ponytail. Her skin was semi tan though a little paler than one would think.Lips pressed into a thin line as she walked towards the trailer.Currently wearing a deep green tank top with a pair of black semi-skinny jeans and a pair of black flats. Not your normal outfit, but she wasn't working today she was only going to get something to drink and then try to find a place for Sky. Anna just patted the mares velvety nose before she headed in towards the cafe.Just walking intot he Cafe she looked at the menu for a little bit then walked up to the line.
Anna just shoved her hands into her back pockets as she waited patiently for her turn to order.Anna just licked her lips as she took a step forward. She must had made it just in time for a rush.Great. But it was ok since she was just wasting more time anyway.Really she didn't want to look for a place to stay because of Sky.It would be hard and she would need to find a job to keep up rent which would be another annoying one. The girl suddenly felt he side vibrate and quickly grabbed the phone out of her pocket and was reading the message.
Just making a face she quickly typed back and then once more the phone disappeared into her pocket as she took another step.

In my field of paper flowers
The truck rumbled along the pathway, its new coat of paint shimmering in the winter sunlight. The man in the cab checked his rearview mirror, shaking his head lightly at the car following too closely behind him. He always did have a short temper when it came to tailgaters. Smirking, Tristen laid his foot lightly on the brake, slowing down to a lazy 15 miles per hour. If they wanted to get ahead of him, he would let them.
With a quick honk in complaint, the silver compact sped past him. Now safe to drive his own car without a distraction, Tristen laid his foot back on the gas pedal, reaching three miles over the speed limit before backing off.
He wasn't quite sure he was out today, to be bluntly honest with himself. As he drove, lists of what he needed to do back at the ranch. He had to work on training his gelding, he had to get around to offering his services as a veterinarian, he had to send in that gift he had promised his sister, and much much more. But as he drove, the silver Chevy purring happily beneath him, everything faded away. Today was his day to get out, and he was going to enjoy himself.
As Tristen observed the stores along the side of the road, a cafe caught his eye. Well, it was lunch time. He figured he might as well stop. The young man turned into the parking lot, stopping his car near the entrance. He walked in fairly quickly, eager to beat the young couple behind him. When he entered the cafe, he headed straight for the long line at the register. A girl stood in front of him, but he didn't take much notice until she made a noise. Well, it wasn't her, per se, but it came from her. She quickly pulled the cell phone out of her pocket, and Tristen watched, uninterested, as she texted someone and put her phone back in her pocket.
Realizing it would be quite some time before he and the girl got their orders taken, Tristen decided to introduce himself. She was pretty after all, and he hated standing awkwardly in line.
Hello. He said politely, trying nervously to get the girl's attention. Looks like we came at the wrong time, huh? Tristen tried to make the conversation light. Not one of his best traits, but he always gave it a shot.

Anna
Bordem had struck and it was hard and fast. Though normally a patient girl and today really she didn't mind she'd rather be sitting drinking something and wasting time instead of standing waiting to order while wasting time. After she had texted Abby back she still had nothing to do.Though a husky voice drew her attention in like a fish on a hook.Soft grey optics made their way to the man.He looked to be around her age maybe a year or teo younger though handsome none the less. The edges of her lips cued into a small smile as she listened to his greeting.Though she let he finsih speaking before her soft tune was carried out.
Hello Anna replied while her smile never faded only lingered. A soft chuckle escaped her glossy lips. Yeah it appears so Anna said as she looked towards the front of the line and took a tiny step.Though her attention once more turned to the man. I'm Anna the petite gal said while sticking her hand out for him to shake.Yup an akward conversation, but it was saving her from just standing there doing nothing and anyways almost every conversation Anna got into ended up some how akward so what the heck.
Anna just let the small smile linger upon her lips as she waited for a reply.Yeah he had been right they had come in at a horrible time. But she was new and truthfully at this moment she didn't care this was the first person she had talked to since moving here so if she had to stand in a stupid line all day then so be it.
